Save the file corresponding to the POI you want to load into yous GPS.

For this, click on the file link and choose a folder to save where you can easily remember. For example create a folder “POI” on the disk C:

Note : This folder can contains more than one file, they will be loaded into your GPS

Garmin POI Loader is a free software for your computer that lets you load points of interest (POIs)

Once the installation is complete, if the software does not start automatically,launch it from the Start Menu item

The software is running, click on Next for start the POI loader

To load the POI into your GPS, select 'Garmin Device'

Plug your GPS to your computer with the Garmin USB cable.

Wait several seconds until your GPS is connected then click Next to go to the next step

Select your GPS in the list of device.

Note : If your devide is not listed, click 'Find Device' to launch a new detection

Click Next to go to the next step

Select the first option 'Install new custom POI's onto your device' then click Next to go to the next step

Note : If you choose the second option, all your custom POI will be deleted

Click on the browse button to select the folder of your POI.

For example, you can browse to C:\POI

Check that the units are in your conveniance

Click Next to launch the POI loading into your GPS

The message show the number of POI loaded into your GPS

It is the last step. Click Finish to close the POI Loader software

The POI are loaded into your GPS.

Your can turn off and unplug your GPS from your computer

To view the POI, turn on your GPS and select your categories of POI.

Note : even if you choose not to permanently display the POIs, you can reach them and find them near where you are.
